Create gift cards with pre-determined codes and values via excel upload

1. In Stride Retail you can create multiple gift cards at one time with specific numbers that you create by uploading an excel file.

This can be used if you want to create multiple gift cards at once and have specific gift card numbers and amounts you want to use.

Often this is used if you have plastic gift cards with pre-determined codes and want to add them to your system to give away.

2. Go to the "Sales" app.

3. Click "Products"

4. Click "Gift cards & eWallet"

5. Select the gift card program you want to add gift cards to.

6. Click the "Gift Cards" tab.

7. Click "Favorites"

8. Click "Import records"

9. Click "UPLOAD FILE" and select the spreadsheet you created.

For a template to use, please click the excel link. 

The "Code" column is where you will add your gift card code.
The "Points" column is where you will add the value.
The "Program" column is where you will add the name of your gift card program.

Your gift card program name will be unique, but can be found where the rectangle indicates. The name needs to exactly match for the upload to work.

10. Click "IMPORT"

11. New gift cards will show up at the bottom of the list.
